It is now official...

I cannot count. I was sent some staff council election ballots to count and I had to count the things 5 times because I kept getting different figures. I decided that the lady can have my fine counts and decide what she wants to do with the darn things.

I signed up for the Woman Challenge after seeing it on someone's blog today. I can't believe that I can't remember whose blog it was. Wait, I can't count, how am I supposed to remember something like this! Anyway, it seems like it will be pretty cool. I'm taking the Gulf and Caribbean Route, and can't wait for it to start.

I've been thinking about goals for May, and have decided that I will step it up a notch this month since I will be out of classes for most of the month. My final is on the 4th and classes don't start until the 28th, so I think I can try to do a little more this month. Maybe I'm not doing better at this whole weight loss thing because I haven't been challenging myself ENOUGH. (Although I did have another person today tell me that she could tell I had been losing weight!!!!)

MAY CHALLENGE GOALS
-Walk to work at least 3 days a week (This give leeway for bad weather and if I need to drive for other appointments)
-Track my points at least 5 days a week
-Take my multivitamin every day
-Get a minimum of 28 activity points a week
-Eat AT LEAST one fruit and one vegetable every day

I think that is plenty for me to work on. And I think it should be enough to keep me challenged. I'm going to try to do each thing every day, but I know that I will get seriously disappointed in myself if I challenge them all for everyday and then miss one. There's no sense in setting myself up for failure, and I'll feel even better about myself if I surpass my goals.

I have some books I want to post a bit about because they were really good. I'll try to do that this weekend if nothing happens. Hopefully nothing will happen. I probably won't do any major reviews because I'm not really good at those (I'll leave that to the major book bloggers) but I would like to share some stuff I've enjoyed reading lately.

Y'all have a wonderful evening and Keep Moving!!!

I never thought about it before, but you are right on with lack of challenge being a problem. Until I read that, I hadn't thought about all the times I was successful with exercise was when I had signed up for triathlons and road races. It seems I need that challenge to get me into a sports bra. Yeesh (mental headslap)

Hey Cory, don't know if you got it from me, but I did a write up on it last night. Glad to see you are joining me. Some others have joined the challenge too. I think it sounds fun. What path did you take?

Wow I have just checked out the Woman Challenge - good luck with it!

Great goals for May - think you will manage them without a sweat as you seem quite determined.

Can't wait to hear the book review.
