Rises the Night by Colleen Gleason

The glorious nineteenth-century city of Rome gives rise to a new threat from the Immortal Undead...

I don't want to tell much more than that. A lot of the online stuff I have read give away a little more than I want to!

Colleen's first book, The Rest Falls Away, was a fantastic debut. This Buffy the Vampire slayer meets Pride and Prejudice series is enough to grab anyone's attention. While the books are marketed as romance, they don't really fit that perfectly to me. But, I don't really care what the publisher classifies a book as, as long as it is a good one. And Colleen definitely delivers a terrific story. And keeps you wanting more!

For readers of the first book, there are more fight scenes, and more carriage rides in the second installment. And more information on the Venators.

So, run out and pick up these two books!! Now! Even if you don't read a lot. And check out Colleen's site. She's got some great info up, and writes a terrific blog.
