Back from the Migraine

I woke up with a migraine yesterday. Made for a sucky day of sitting at home wimpering in pain. But the break was kinda nice.

I almost forgot about weigh in this morning. That was kinda scary. I was rushing to finish getting ready and get there. Good thing too! I lost 2 pounds! That's right, 2! That puts me past the 15 pound mark. Now I just need to try not to get stuck there again.

To be honest, and I might as well since I just made the comment on Joy's page, I've been feeling discouraged lately. I've been fighting the same few pounds, and it was really seeming to not be worth it. I had considered giving up, but I decided that I would just be too stubborn to actually give up. Eventually it will get easier again. Maybe these 2 pounds today will help. Hopefully they won't hurt!!! I may take next month as "Just keep chugging along" month. I think that with a few things that have happened this month that I might have bitten off more than I can chew and need a break. So Joy, you know you aren't alone. Just keep doing your best and don't give up. Slow and steady wins the race. There's no need for us to rush along faster than we can!

Firstly I hope your migraine has lifted - know how they can drag you down.

Secondly thanks Cory for all you kind words of support - I appreciate it! I know I can depend on you to inspire me. Like you have just done - losing 2lb wonderful!

It has been ages since I lost anything. Thank goodness I haven't put any on and keep making excuses but know I need to exercise and that is my problem.

I think like you I will gather my strength and do something less challenging next month.

Nice to know that I am not alone! Together we can do this Cory - am sure we both will do just fine and are both just on downers at the minute.

I have been trying to lose the same 10 to 15 pounds for as many years as I can remember. Hey at this point I would be happy to lose 5 of those pounds! Just keep working out and eating right. It is not just about losing the weight but living a healthy lifestyle.

Yaaay for the stubbornness that keeps you chugging along. Your stubbornness will eventually get you to your goal.
