Wardrobe Malfunction

I just wanted to share my wardrobe malfunction with the world today.

I decided to wear my sandels to work today. They're old...I was in 9th grade, I think, when I got them. Let's take into account that I graduated from highschool 7 years ago...

These are a pair of the wedge shoes that have a really high heel. I LOVE these shoes.

On to what happened. You really don't care how much I love them, right? :)

I was walking to work, and when I stepped off the sidewalk to cross my last street I heard a pop. I looked back, but didn't see anything wrong. So I kept going. Three steps and I realized something was definitely wrong. I pulled up my pant leg and left my foot to look at my shoe.

Guess what, it was hanging funny. Most of the insole had popped loose. We're talking from the heel to the ball of my foot! DAMN! So I kept walking, figuring I could make it to the office... Ten steps later I took my shoes off and walked the rest of the way barefoot!

I really hope we get off at lunch today. Then I can just get a ride home and not have to worry about my lack of proper footwear. I will probably attempt to glue my shoes back together, but I don't really expect it to succeed.

So, that's my embarassing wardrobe story for the day. What's yours???

Damn that sucks! I had some shoes that I loved so very much, but then the sole cracked exactly in half. Yeah, couldn't wear those anymore! Oh well, better shoes than pants, eh?

Wish I could have seen you hobbling along LOL!

The same thing happened to me in Dubai - thankfully my good friend was with me who went and bought me a new pair of shoes to enable me to walk about and make my way home!

We can laugh about it now but it isn't funny at the time.

Aw, that stinks. Losing a favorite pair of shoes is no fun.

My best friend had a wardrobe malfunction several years ago where her blouse came unbuttoned without her noticing, and she had a sexy, see-through bra underneath. She's an engineer and worked for a telephone company at the time, so she was out at telephone poles in traffic and had no idea for a while why people kept honking at her or yelling at her from cars. Sooo funny.
